Saying about
Charlie's Innovative Services

In 1992, Charles "Charlie" Fleetham founded Project Innovations to create and deliver innovative organizational and leadership development solutions to business and government. Under Charlie's direction, the company has consulted with many clients and has grown into a two million a year consulting business.

As a successful management consultant, speaker, and trainer for 18 years, Charlie has developed a storehouse of expertise in leadership development. He has created and presented workshops across the country in the following:
Executive and supervisory development
Strategic planning
Organizational and personal visioning
Cultural change
Human Resource planning
Conflict resolution
Team building
Grooming rainmakers
Meeting facilitation
Mentoring and coaching
Charlie began to integrate the theories of Carl Jung into his leadership development work because he saw two things: most leadership development practices were based on rational thinking and there was a vast reservoir of untapped power in the unconscious. Based on his experience with Jung's ideas, he identified a need for an approach that leveraged the unconscious.

He launched his company on a journey that featured a multi-year apprenticeship with a licensed Jungian analyst, a concentrated symposium at the Jungian Institute in Switzerland, training for all consultants in Jungian theory, and the investment of more than a hundred thousand dollars in research, training, creative development, and marketing.

A graduate of the Michigan State University, Charlie received a BA in English and graduated with High Honors. Considered an expert in group dynamics and resolving organizational conflict, Charlie has broadly implemented the concepts of Unrational Leadership in business and government. Although these ideas are counterintuitive to the organizational mind, Charlie has seen more and more of his clients successfully adopt this innovative way of thinking and doing. As a consultant, he has received numerous awards and accolades from his clients. Some of his most significant achievements include:
Facilitating the resolution of a $1.2 billion dollar rate conflict for the City of Detroit's wastewater system
Facilitating the start up of a national phone company
Facilitating the turnaround of an engineering consulting firm
Facilitating the resolution of a fourteen-year-old community conflict in Kalamazoo, Michigan over the management of wastewater services
Winning Ford Motor Company's highest quality award for helping a software team develop innovative software
Charlie often speaks on Unrational Leadership™ and related management consulting topics, and his unique methods have been featured in Crain's Detroit Business. In May 2003, he spoke at the American Consulting Engineering Council national convention on the topic of "Grooming Rainmakers". In this speech, he introduced the concepts of Unrational Leadership™ and the individual and organizational path to discovery model. The reception was overwhelmingly positive and has led to follow-up consulting assignments and a speaking engagement with Zweig-White at their October 2003, Leadership Conference in San Francisco.

Finally, and most importantly, Charlie leads a balanced life. He is the father of two teen-aged children and committed to giving them a role model that they can emulate. He takes singing lessons with his daughter, has coached many softball and baseball teams, and serves his community as president of the local youth football association.
