Breakthru Fire (Kalamazoo Mandala, November 2003)
This picture documents major outcomes of the conference and shows how
Kalamazoo could respond to a "Call to Action". As the fiery colors
of "Breakthru Fire" indicate, there is a tremendous amount of energy
in the Kalamazoo region for creating a better future. The picture channels
this passionate energy into the five calls required to initiate and
sustain a concerted "Call for Action". These five calls organize
the input received during the conference into basic levels of effort -
leadership, progress, vision, collaboration, and courage. They are organized
on the mandala for parallel efforts, and they allow for shifting priorities
based on your ability to provide resources and commitment.
